Birch Trees
I want to come alive with the object
- Andrew Wyeth

I search for the realness, the real feeling of the subject, all the texture around it. I always want

to see the third dimension of something. I want to come alive with the object.

-Andrew Wyeth

The birch signifies renewal and purification. It is a symbol of rebirth, new beginnings and growth. In earlier times it was a sacred tree and was believed to have very protective influences.

Women are carved out of the same material that trees are made off. Their bark is hard and marked by furrows over the years that speak of the ups and downs of life. Like a birch, they sway smoothly in the wind and withstand the strongest storms.

Women are deeply rooted in the earth of their life and act out their freedom and fantasies in their treetops.

If you can't plant a large weeping willow in your yard, you can at least bring one into your home.
